Resilience IPA Launch in South Lake Tahoe

January 3rd, 2019

This Friday, January 4th, four South Lake Tahoe breweries (South Lake Brewing Company, Outpost Brewing Company, Cold Water Brewery and Grill, and Sidellis Brewery) are launching the “Resilience Butte County Proud IPA” at their locations. This special beer will be available for a limited time only with 100% of sales going to Camp Fire victims.

Sierra Nevada Brewing based in Chico, CA created and shared the Resilience Butte County Proud IPA, in support of Camp Fire victims with the goal of donating 100% of sales to the Sierra Nevada Camp Fire Relief Fund. Sierra Nevada asked every brewery in the country to brew the beer with the ultimate goal of raising $15 million to directly support those affected. There are over 1,400 breweries participating, including one in the United Kingdom.

Not only is this an opportunity to support those who have been devastated by the Camp Fire, it’s also a great opportunity for Tahoe residents and visitors to come together to learn how to better prepare for wildfire. The Tahoe Network of Fire Adapted Communities will be supporting the breweries this Friday by providing education to patrons on evacuation planning and emergency preparedness, creating defensible space, and more.
